Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Matthew Zizzamia, doing business as Zizzamia Web Design ("I" or "me"), collects through this website, how I use it, and the choices you have. I build websites for small businesses and I'm based in Montclair, New Jersey. For a new website, please use the request form on the home page. For anything else, email matthew@
Information you give me
If you send a website request, I collect:
- your business name
- the type of business
- how many years the business has been open
- your business email address
- your business address
If you run your business from home, you can give just your town and ZIP code instead of a street address. Please don't include any other personal information.
Information collected automatically
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request so it can deliver the site and protect it from attacks and abuse. I don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools on this site.
How I use your information
I use the details in your request only to reply to you and, if we decide to work together, to plan and build your website. I don't use them for marketing, and I won't add you to a mailing list.
How I share information
I don't sell your information or share it for advertising. I share it only with the service providers that run this website, deliver your request to me, and process client payments, and when the law requires it.
Requests are delivered by Cloudflare, my website host, to my email inbox, which is provided by Apple (iCloud Mail). They aren't stored anywhere else.
Payments
This website doesn't take payments. If you become a client, you'll pay through invoices or payment links from Stripe, which collects and protects your card details under its own privacy policy. I never see or store your full card number. Stripe shows me limited details about each payment, such as the amount, the date, your name and email, and the last four digits of your card. I use them only for billing, and I keep them as long as I need to for taxes and accounting.
How long I keep it
If we don't end up working together, I delete your request within 12 months. If we do work together, I keep it with the records for your project.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect information sent through this site, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No website or method of sending information is completely secure.
Children
This website is meant for businesses. It isn't directed to children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent me information, email matthew@
Your choices
You can ask what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it by emailing matthew@
Links to other websites
This site links to Stripe's privacy policy, and it may link to websites I've built for other businesses. Those sites are run by those companies, and their own privacy policies apply.
Browser privacy signals
Because I don't track visitors or sell personal information, there's no tracking for signals like Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control to turn off.
Cookie Policy
Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser.
- This website doesn't set any cookies of its own, and it doesn't store anything else in your browser. It doesn't use analytics, advertising, or social media tracking.
- My hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a cookie that's strictly necessary to protect the site from bots and abuse.
- No maps, videos, fonts, or social media widgets from other companies are loaded on this site, so browsing here doesn't load third-party cookies. Sites you visit through links may set their own.
- Because this site uses only strictly necessary cookies, if any, it doesn't show a cookie consent banner. If I ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies, I'll update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I'll post the update here and change the effective date above.
